The History of Rosicrucians

The teaching of the order are guarded since millennia without damage.

Frater C.R. is seen as the founder of the order of Rosicrucians, who is mentioned in the Rosicrucian manifest, Fama Fraternitatis in the 17th century.

Anyone researching for the inner mysteries back then, using for this more than religious text books, had to fear to end up as a heretic at the stake. Therefore, Rosicrucians acted in secrecy back then and founded secret societies which safely guarded the teaching of hermetics.

The visible and invisible society were and are only external garments.  The true order is secret and maintained in an unscathed chain with millennia of age. It is neither about names or persons but only and exclusively about the possibility of initiation.

The secret order always adapts to the current needs of humanity. Our teachings and rituals are timeless, but this only pertains to the content, form always changes, as forms are ephemeral.

Thus, the teachings are made accessible to you also in our time in an easily understandable fashion. Based on this reason, highly initiated ones met each other in 1988 and worked together to found a new association which is adapted to the form of the new millennium and guards every key. Thus, the order with the new name A.O.R. was newly installed in 1989. It is the new clothing of the order existing since times before memory. This makes it to the “ancient” order.
